Songs from the Second Floor - Not with a bang,

Everyone in Songs from the Second Floor is dead and as stagnant as the city's traffic. They wear ghoulish makeup and are covered in the ashes of Eliot's wasteland.

Werckmeister Harmonies

In the opening scene of Werckmeister Harmonies, Janos explains the nature of an eclipse to a group of men in a bar. He begins scientifically, charting out the motions of the heavenly bodies. As the men's movements turn into an ethereal dance, János ventures into the poetically biblical "And then ... complete silence. Everything that lives is still. Are the hills going to march off? Will heaven fall upon us?"
